"A Gift That Doesn't Come in String"

The cold breeze of December is rushing into my ears whispering the songs that say Christmas is here. Silver bells hanging on the door, Christmas lights sparkling with glow and candy canes in the mistletoe are just some of the symbols of Christmas that I want to see. The voices of the carolers fill the air with hope and glee that brings the message that Christmas is for children, young and old.

Christmas gifts come in bows and strings but the gift I want from Santa is just so near. All I want for Christmas is not another new toy. The simplest thing I could ever ask for is my whole family to be in the dining table, spending our time chit chatting and sharing the mischievous memories over a selection of our favorite foods wherein I could only feel the essence of Christmas is like a whole new year. Simple yet so fulfilling and my heart would smile and leap for joy.

Its not my birthday after all that is what I am excited of. It is Christmas and always has been this day that I am very eager of for it is the only time that I feel so much loved because Jesus Christ had me as His child. Christmas happens once in a year but we can make everyday a Christmas day by giving love and sharing the blessings that we have. As the song goes, “It’s the time of year when good friends are dear and you wish you could give more than the presents in the store.” So why not give love instead of gifts that comes in strings?
